Route 66 Art Show

Takin’ It To The Streets

The Route 66 Art Show and Sale will be held the first Saturday in June in conjunction with Sapulpa’s Route 66 Blowout. Art will be displayed in the Ovations Event center, the corner of Lee and Water Streets in Downtown Sapulpa. Come to Water Street and “Chalk the Walk” or have fun with “Picture This”.

Prizes will be awared for 1st and 2nd place in each category for professional, adult, young adult, youth and children, as well as Best of Show and Peoples Choice.
 

Hand deliver work Friday afternoon from 4 to 8 p.m.

Categories and Entry fees:

Adult and Professional, (18 years & older): $10 per piece

Young Adult and Youth, (11-17, or current High School Student): $5 per piece

Children, (6-10): $2 per piece

One entry per category please.

2D work must be securely framed and

wired for hanging and may not exceed 42″x42″ overall.

Work must be dry.

Drawings should be under glass or plexi-glass.

Please attach the Entry Form on the upper right back side of piece or bottom of 3D pieces, and please have registration form completed.

Show hours on Saturday are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and work not sold must be picked up at 5 p.m.

 

What qualifies? Original fine art in the primary medium stated on the application. Work from molds, factory assembly, or other commercial methods are not acceptable.

The Route 66 Art Show is held in conjunction with Main Street Route 66 car show in historical downtown Sapulpa, OK. Exhibitors will display as part of a group. Individual artist may set up their own 10×10 booth space, displaying more of their work, adjacent to Ovations at a special discounted price through the Sapulpa Main Street.

Enjoy the show… Visit downtown shops, restaurants, & museums. There will be childrenís activities, great food and music. All proceeds from the art show sales, go to the artist.
