Arteries

“Arteries” is an intergenerational art class, pairing senior citizens with youth volunteers.

The two generations, working together, create works of art while forming relationships.

Arteries classes will begin on Wednesdays in September and continue for 12 weeks in January/February and March/April. Watch for exact date to be posted.

The 2012 classes will be broken into three 4-week sessions:

A Closing reception at the Sapulpa Senior Citizen Community Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come and see the works created by our Senior Citizens and Youth Volunteers.

There is no charge for the class and the medium is generally changed yearly. The classes range from oil painting and watercolor to clay. The eight week course, taught by a professional artist, is held each Spring. The class is sponsored by the Oklahoma Arts Council and Sapulpa Arts.
