Our members help to promote the Arts and Humanities in the Sapulpa area. For membership and event information visit our office at 101 E. Dewey, Sapulpa, or ”Like” Sapulpa Arts on Facebook for local and regional Arts and Humanities opportunities.
Sapulpa Arts has a 25 year presence in Sapulpa. Our roots are here and we strive to serve our community and it Arts & Humanities needs.
Our office is located in the Sapulpa Chamber of Commerce and we are under the non-profit umbrella of the Sapulpa Area Chamber Foundation, Inc., but we are not supported by their funding.
In order to bring our programs to the community we receive matching funding for our programs from the Oklahoma Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. We must provide matching funding for those grants and request funding for our operating costs. These run close to $22,000 a year. It may not sound like much, but it makes a difference in the lives of those we support and promote.
By showing your financial support for this local organization they are able to support our local arts organizations, summer arts camp, free art classes for senior citizens, and promote local theatre and writing groups, as well as countless aspiring artists and performers.
